About Our Pastor Father Douglas Brown is the youngest of five boys and grew up in Willowick, OH. He attended St. Mary Magdalene for first grade when his family moved to Madison, OH, where Fr. Brown attended the public schools.
He was involved with his parish, Immaculate Conception, and graduated from Madison High School in 1984. Fr. Brown attended Ohio University, graduating in 1989 with a B.S. in Journalism. After working for a few years, he returned to Ohio University and received a Masters in Higher Education. Fr. Brown worked in college admissions at Northern Kentucky University, the University of Akron, and Case Western Reserve University.
He entered the seminary in the fall of 2000 and was ordained on May 13, 2006. Fr. Brown’s first assignment was St. Basil the Great in Brecksville, OH before becoming pastor at Mary Queen of Peace in April 2010.
